About Me

A strong interest in complementary healing led Debbie to begin studying massage and bodywork therapy in 1998. After running a successful massage practice for ten years, she was introduced to Bowenwork.  At first she was skeptical but after receiving the respiratory procedure to help with a bad cold, she was sold!  She went from being miserable one day and 100% better the next!  Debbie decided right there and then that she would get trained and certified in this gentle but powerful modality.

Debbie continued getting Bowenwork sessions while also getting trained in the technique.  After several months, her wrist, elbows and back pain, which she had from many years of doing massage, had gone away.  Now this was exciting! Debbie had learned that gentle touch could stimulate profound healing at a much deeper level than she’d ever seen with other therapies.

In 2009 she completed her Bowenwork training and is now a Registered Bowenwork Practitioner.  As of July, 2013 Debbie has completed Bowenwork Specialized Procedures 1 and has started learning Specialized Procedures 2. She is a member of the Bowenwork Academy of Australia, and member of the American Association of Bowenwork, practitioners(AABP) She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association(AMTA) and nationally certified through NCBTMB. Her practice grows continuously, primarily via referrals from satisfied clients.

Debbie’s mission is to provide gentle, effective healthcare in a safe and serene environment. Sessions at her clinic not only include relaxing hands-on treatments, but also health education and suggestions for improving total wellness.
